Baptiste Spicher, born August 17th, 1994, had already acquired his first experience in ski mountaineering at the age of 10. Thanks to his excellent results in 2012, he was admitted to the Swiss Team. Baptiste works full time as a metal design engineer. In addition, he is training for 6-12 hours a week. A highlight of his career as a young ski mountaineer is the victory at the Patrouille des Glaciers in 2014. Together with Corthay Thomas and Bonnet Rémi, he reached the finish in Verbier with a time of 02:58:33 from Arolla to Verbier.
His motivation of ski mountaineering is: to go up to the limits of his performance capacity, to give his best, and to be with other athletes.
